At the American Music Awards, watch BTS jump and twerk while practising “My Universe” with Coldplay.

The AMAs performance by oldplay and BTS of their collaborative hit “My Universe” is over, but fans are still getting gifts from the bands’ big award show night. Coldplay bassist Guy Berryman shared a video of vocalist Chris Martin performing with the Bangtan Boys in an outdoor location in Los Angeles prior of their concert on Tuesday (Nov. 23) on Twitter.

Martin and all seven members of BTS — Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook — appeared in the video, performing their Billboard Hot 100-topping tune and participating in some lighthearted shenanigans. V performed Jin’s lyric “make my world light up within” from the song, while Jimin focused on harmonising with Martin. V and Jungkook were briefly seen twerking in the video, and J-Hope enthusiastically hopped up and down as the trio began to sing.

The video was released just one day after BTS and Coldplay shared a snapshot of themselves posing outside the AMAs on Twitter. The K-pop stars captioned the picture, “The My Universe Crew @coldplay.” Following its debut in October, “My Universe” reached the top of the Billboard Hot 100.

At Sunday’s AMAs, BTS and Coldplay performed “My Universe” live for the first time. Later that night, the K-pop group won favourite pop duet or group for the third year in a row, favourite pop song for “Butter,” and the night’s most important prize, artist of the year.
